Why take a generic parenting class when you could learn all about your ACTUAL baby?
-Prenatal appointment to discuss the last trimester of your baby's development, what to expect when you first give birth, how to navigate the hospital, and the first few weeks of being home. We can go through all the logistics of preparing for your baby's arrival including the supplies that give the most bang for your buck and the gear you can skip buying. I can also help you plan for your future sleep routine an discuss expectations for your everyday schedule.
-Once your little one has arrived, I offer an in-home consultation. This visit provides more hands-on learning about your baby.
- What to expect with your initial home visit: I will come to you! No need to clean up or have everything “just right.” This is about meeting you exactly where you are. This visit will be up to 90 minutes to assess your regular routines and share any insights that could help you during your normal day-to-day. I will provide in-person hands-on developmental education including holding techniques, bath time how-to, feeding techniques, how to swaddle, transferring into the bassinette, how to understand your baby's needs, reading infant behavioral cues, and how to start tummy time.
- This visit can be virtual but for the best learning experience, in-person is recommended
-Phone a friend support. This is the best friend treatment. I offer continued access to my education and support through the remainder of your 4th trimester (the next 3 months).
- We will set up virtual check-ins monthly via zoom or facetime for the next 3 months to make sure all of your questions are answered. You get access to text/call/email me any questions you may have, and I will get back to you within 24 hours. You will also have access to evidence-based resources that I will provide via my website or email. This includes my condensed developmental information guides as well as the best social media follows, books, and podcasts.
